Your FAQ's about SingCon (answered by Virginia =D)

1) Do I have to be Chinese to audition?

NOPE!! Our club is all about diversity and sharing our culture, so if you feel an itch to sing then come on out and bring your A-game!! We welcome people of all cultures and backgrounds - in fact, two years ago (SingCon10) 2 out of the Top 3 contestants were not Chinese =)!!

2) Do I have to be a member to audition?

Again, no. Everyone is welcome to audition - members, non-members, Chinese kids, non-Chinese kids - anyone and everyone who is a student at Queen's University.

3) Do my songs have to be sung in Chinese?

Definitely NOT!! Your song choices are entirely up to you and you can sing whatever your heart desires. We may not understand when you sing in Italian but if it sounds nice, why not? (Just don't diss out our execs in a foreign language.)

4) What do I get if I win?

BAHAHA NOT TELLING :)!! But it'll be mind-blowingly AWESOME - don't worry! Actually we're not entirely sure yet either - details will be released later so keep your eyes and ears open =).
