Looking back into the previous school year, our core executive for the 2009-2010 year accomplished countless feats to implement the best events for all of our members, from our mid-autumn lounge to our unforgettable iCon! We'd like to thank our core executive for all of their hard work this year and wish them all the best for their future endeavours. In lieu of this transition, our executive members have made their vote and have brought to you another stellar group of core executives who will be working around the clock to ensure the 2010-2011 school year is full of QCSA awesomeness! These executives have done amazing work in their previous positions and are more than qualified and equipped with the skills to make the best of the following school year. Here are your core executives: Co-Presidents: Kenneth Lee & Li Pan
VP Operations: Angel Tse VP Marketing: Daniella Tanaka Lo VP Finance: Elisa Cheng Also, please note that we will be hiring non-core executives in the near future. For a list of possible positions, please refer to the current staff page. More details and the application form are to come by next week so keep your eyes open for an update!

Congratulations to Jon Lee, our iCON and Singcon12 champion!! Congrats are also in order for all of our top 9. You are all amazing singers and thank you for giving us a rhapsody we won't soon forget =). Through the fun times, the laughs and the astonishing talent, Singcon12 has come to a close. It was a definitely a night to remember and we hope that you enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed planning and putting it on for you. If you want to re-live Singcon12, you'll be excited to know that we are preparing for the release of the iCON DVD!! The full coverage of the entire show, contestant videos and behind the scene footage will be available for purchase so keep your eyes on the lookout for emails and Facebook postings.  Singcon12 is definitely a hard event to top, but we still have events planned for the remainder of the year for all of our members! First off, we'd like to wish you all a Happy Chinese New Year!! Falling on the long weekend, (coinciding with Valentine's Day but for you single people out there, it's just Chinese New Year ;)) Feb 14th will the start of the year of the tiger! We hope you're celebrating the joyous occasion with family but if you're stuck in Kingston hours away from your family, we hope you're celebrating with close friends! Keep on the lookout for more information because QCSA will be helping Sodexho with a Chinese New Year event at Leonard! Remember, Chinese New Year lasts for more than just 1 day so take in the festivities and await great Chinese food on the week following reading week.
