Derek Lau is a returning contestant from last year's Singcon11 (see photos of Derek at last year's event in the gallery or over on our Facebook group).  As one of only 3 males in a nursing class of 60, Derek is notably a unique and caring individual who loves music and places his family first.

We asked Derek "What would be your perfect wedding song?"
Derek: That would be my wife playing Canon in D on a piano, that means my wife must have to know how to play piano lol
