Singcon12 Winner Jonathan LeeIt is without a doubt that the biggest and most well-known QCSA event is Singcon!!  Singcon is an annual singing competition hosted by QCSA, where a winner (or winning group) is chosen out of 10 contestants by 3 experienced judges.  Contestants may be singing as a pair, as a band or simply solo.  In addition to the contestants' chosen pieces, a challenge stage is held where contestants are put to the test with difficult and often awkward trials!  This year, the theme for Singcon is iCON, so remember to keep your eyes out for our very own iPod man!  Other guest appearances will be announced later on in the year so remember to stay alert.

Every year, Singcon is a major event which drives the executives to the end of the world and back in order to bring to all of you the best possible event of the year!  Tickets for Singcon12 will be on sale from February 2nd to Februrary 5th, but don't delay or tickets will be sold out.  Last year, the contestants sung their hearts out to a fully packed Dunning Hall!  All proceeds from ticket sales will be going to a charity of our choice (TBA).

Mark your calendars and make sure to free up your schedule for Singcon 12 which will be taking place on February 6th, 2010 at Convocation Hall (Theological Hall).

Mid-Autumn Lounge 2009It's the first Chinese festival of the school year and we're celebrating it by hosting a mid-autumn lounge for Queen's students!  Sit back, relax and mingle with QCSA members, executives and other Queen's students as we provide you with a tasty dinner (courtesy of our sponsors) and best of all moon cake!  After all, a mid-autumn festival without moon cake is like an unsharpened pencil, there's not point!  We'll have a DDR game, mahjong and card tables and a twister game set up for laughs and entertainment.  Head on over to our other room in the JDUC and show us your amazing voice or listen to others as they sing karaoke!  All of this will be happening on October 4th at the Robert Sutherland room in the JDUC.
